I watched the season premier of More to Love last night. It was a little cheesy, but there is some serious thought provoking reality in there too. More to Love is a Bachelor for larger size women. YEAH! Big Girls deserve love too.
Pop Watch has a good synopsis of the first show. I rarely sit down to watch TV but there have been a few shows I watch regularly. American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. This will be a Tuesday night replacement for those.
Do I have my favorites yet? No. Need to watch a little bit more but I was sad that he did not pick Michelle, the cute, bubbly blond photographer with the awesome attitude. Maybe she should be the next Bachelorette.
This show is a nice break because it is real. It sheds light on how important "body" becomes in relationships. A STRONG theme with all the contestants… I just want to be loved for who I am, not my body. I have said that for over 30 years. It made me realize that I am certainly not alone and it isn't just a mind trick to cover my "weight" issues. That is a very real feeling for people who have been on the receiving end of the "stereotype" and judgments of being larger.
Did you watch the show? What were your thoughts?
