An underlying element of a bombshell’s attitude is Grace & Poise.
It seems to be a dying art.
A woman with grace, poise and charm can illuminate a room as she enters,
no matter what her size.
70% of all communication is body language. Only 7% is the spoken word. For me, as a big girl most of my life, that is not the message I want to give out to the world. Really looking at myself, I have to be honest with myself. I walk with a bit of a waddle, my shoulder’s hunched, my chin slightly down. I certainly would not be able to walk with a book balanced on my head. What message does that project out to the world?
I have started an exercise routine that addresses the basics. Learning balance, strengthening my core, building back up the muscles that will hold my frame and project the message I am looking to send out to the world.
It’s like learning to walk all over again. Statistics show that it takes a baby 1000 hours to learn to walk. From the time they first pull themselves up to their first steps alone. It takes that long to learn to balance.
That is my mission for the rest of the year. To put in a 1000 hours of learning to stand straight and tall, slowly build the muscles back that hold me straight. To walk with my chin up, head held high, shoulders back and to walk with grace and poise. I figure I will look like I lost 10 pounds just by learning to stand tall.
That is focusing on attitude rather than the scale. Focusing on the scale is jumping in with both feet to try and do a kick-a** routine to make those pounds shed. Focusing on the attitude, will build a base to get to that point, without getting hurt and putting out a message of confidence that matches the attitude within.

Lovely image and I can see your quiet powerful poise. Grace is a strong spiritual value of calmness, clarity and power. Blessed be.
