What a thought-provoking post! And it really resonated with me as I’m in the “chapter two” phase, trying to figure out what to do next before the dreaded empty nest. Am figuring out, like you, that one thing doesn’t have to (or possibly can) provide all the answers and that we must grab happiness when and where we find it.

I often get caught in second guessing my accomplishments or thinking they are not enough…always thinking something could be better…but this is my year to banish those thoughts from my head and make changes that will truly enhance my life. The goal in mind is to become a full time freelancer. The accomplishment that adds to the Bling Factor is how I work 10 hours a day without complaining all the time. Achieving the goal will be so much sweeter when I get there.
