I've been a fan of Les Brown for a long time! My favorite of his is:

"If you want to keep getting what you are getting, keep doing what you are doing!"

This should come as no surprise; the most important bloggers in my life is me. I write for me, way more than I write for others. That others may benefit is a joy and I am glad.

But when I sit down with my coffee and touch the keyboard, when conjur thoughts and mix them with intentions, it has every bit as much to do with keeping me connected to all that I should be doing, as it does in offering help to others.

How could I possibly throw my intentions into the universe, by way of this miraculous technology, and not stay better connected to who I wish to be.

And as self-centered as this may sound, when I fnd myself in low spaces, and contemplating and acting out in low ways, I will often stop -- read some of my past posts, and remember who I was, who I am, and who I wish to be.

Cathy at All Things Power! http://cathy-cox.blogspot.com/ and this post in particular: http://cathy-cox.blogspot.com/2010/07/good-bad-ugly-truth.html

I've "known" Cathy for several years through a popular diet website's support boards. I was so glad when she started blogging because I don't go to the support boards any more. Cathy is as true a person as you can get. She's lost over 100 pounds and is now struggling with an eating disorder and what she talks about on her blog speaks to me about this whole process that we put ourselves through...and why.
