Walk a Mile in my Shoes

Remember the days, that I would invite you to sit and have a cup of coffee and tell me about your day….Well, I want to hear how you are, what is going on with you, BUT today let’s go for a walk and get caught up.

I am striving for is MINDFUL exercise.  To not let my mind wander too much,  just listen to the music, feel my body move from my head to my toes, and pay attention to my surroundings.

Come walk with me!

Slow…New Direction Ahead (Slow Ride playing on the IPOD(

Heard it through the Grapevine

I could see for miles, and miles, and miles

Ain’t NO Mountain High Enough (There is a bench on top of that hill….Next Goal)

Hole in the Sidewalk  (Jody…just for you)

YOU GO GIRL written in chalk …cheering me on…

So, its your turn…what did you see on the walk?  How is it going for you?  How is your journey going?  Anything, you want to talk about?  Now’s your chance!

  1. I saw beauty, hope & a new Jules in the pics along with that poem from way back when with that hole in the sidewalk! Best go back & read that poem!

I want to go sit on top of that hill!

    Thx Jules!

  2. I have to admit that mindful exercise is a new one for me. I do my best to distract myself when I am working out. Even when I ride my bike outside, I am drafting posts in my head or chatting with my husband.

  3. This is why I love to walk. So much to see, smell, feel and think while all turns into ONE. Out the door~~~

  4. Love the walk. What a happy coincidence being cheered on by chalk. I’m also just taking one step at a time. And the wonderful thing is that I see movement without planning out the destination.

I want to see the view from that bench. :) Picture? :)

Love! It’s everywhere!! AND I love that you were cheered on by chalk on the sidewalk. Now THAT is the right path.
