If I ever go looking for my heart’s desire again, I won’t look any further than my own back yard.
Because if it isn’t there, I never really lost it to begin with.
Today, as I finish up the close of a long journey of looking for my heart’s desire, which in all the years prior, I thought the number on the scale or the number on my clothes, or the number in wallet, would give me, I have honestly and truly learned….Everything I need and desire is INSIDE of me…My own backyard, so to speak.
Tomorrow is a significant date for me. I mentioned it briefly, but tomorrow’s post on Woman’s Day, will give it a little justice. AND a few other things, later this week, that I will share about that path to my own backyard…
But for today…I will let these tell my story…
Halloween 2009…I
let myself dress up as Dorothy MAJOR out of comfort zone
Me..at the end of August 2010 Sitting on the Bench at the top of the hill….First of many exercise goals fulfilled!
And the cool thing is it is only just beginning……..Thank you for all who visit me in my backyard!

What a difference – especially the expression.
ooh.. excitement.. Results!! Keep it comin’!!!
Cheers,
Missa

I am with Karen & looking forward to tomorrow!
Dear Inspirational Bombshell, “Everything I need and desire is INSIDE of me…My own backyard…” An excellent reminder to take the time to connect to one’s inner self where all answers can be found. Sometimes also, the answers or solution does come from another because people/animals and places do contribute to one’s awareness and life. Peace Profound

Jules, keep being amazing. If I had an “inspiration bombshell” award to give..I would be giving it to you. It really is inside us isn’t it? We just have to look…and tap in.
Yes, it is much closer than we think, isn’t it, Jules? You are and were beautiful….you were always there in your own back yard. Healthier now, yes…still you – A BIG YES!
What a wonderful life I’ve had! I only wish I’d realized it sooner. ~Colette
You are an inspirational blogger…to say the very least. xox

And as Ive aged Ive entirely realized all I need is within myself…in the confines, as you put it, of my OWN backyard.
