Drink it in

  Weekly Weigh-in

Down .4 lbs

I didn’t get to my muscle, water, bone, % yesterday

but will follow that next week

But that is an accomplishment in and of itself…

I didn’t step on the scale…

I forgot about it….

That is MAJOR….

My soul goal this week is water…

I have always had trouble drinking enough water….

hate to admit but some days I don’t drink a single glass

A healthy water measurement, from what I am reading, is about 60%, some of which comes from the muscle we have in our bodies.

Overweight and obese people typically go down to about 45% because of lower muscle %.

(these are all averages, of course)

Mine is in the 30′s.

So…plain and simple drink more water…

but while I am at it this week….I am going to drink in the beauty that surrounds me

I am going to write and draw and play and clean………….

That’s it

What can you drink in this week?  What is your soul goal?

  1. I LOVE the idea of a soul goal!! It makes the word “goal” much more palatable :-)

Water has never been my issue…I drink lots and lots it. Besides my nightly glass of wine, all I drink is water…

So, to use another BGBS phrase, my soul goal this week is to “snack on movement” :-)

Wow… not only more palatable, but important and meaningful! Something I would feel connected to.. I’ve never heard that term before, soul goal. Very nice indeed!

  3. Jules ONE thing I do do well is that I drink a lot of water. Cold water. I love it. Not sure why, but I always have. I drink more when I’m being healthy (cos I’m drinking less diet coke!) but I suspect I look healthier when I’m losing weight because I’m drinking more water.

I worry – in fact – that I drink too much water… most often easily going over 3 litres/day. But, I don’t drink tea / coffee… just water, diet coke and wine.

Now… as for drinking in my surroundings – well, that IS something I forget to do!

I drink in the moment. To be where I am. Not to wander so into the future, not to tarry in the past. Just to be.
