At What Cost?

A short while back, I posted Does it cost more to be healthy that briefly focused on the diet industry and what we spend in search of "perfect diet".  Recently, I have been reading a lot of blog posts that were spurred by TIME magazines article - Getting Real about the High Cost of Cheap Food.  One portion that stood out for me was this, straight from the article  A study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutritionfound that a dollar could buy 1,200 calories of potato chips or 875 calories of soda but just 250 calories of vegetables or 170 calories of fresh fruit. Does it cost more to be healthy?
